For the cleaning of our rooms, we exclusively use environmentally friendly and non-toxic cleaning agents from Steinfels-Swiss.

In line with our zero-waste strategy, we avoid waste. For example, you will not find any pre-packaged mini portions in our breakfast buffet.

Our stale bread delights the elephants at Basel Zoo - they love it!

With our used coffee grounds, the start-up, Stadtpilze, grows noble mushrooms.

Our used guest soaps are recycled by the Sapocycle Foundation for use in vulnerable areas.

Our bio-waste is processed into humus at a nearby biogas plant.

We are the official accommodation partner of the Tennis Open Basel and support various junior tournaments in the region.

We only purchase certified green electricity and we are connected to the district heating network.

We offset our CO2 emissions by purchasing certificates from reforestation projects in Peru and Uruguay.
